Things I Want: Drinkman Flask to Remind Me of the 90s

I’m letting you guys know 5 days in advance, so all of you who are getting paid tomorrow know what to get me for my Tuesday.

I’m looking forward searching for my Flux Capacitor and letting my Nike Air Mags tie themselves as I walk down the street with this lovely accessory. Nobody will even notice this inconspicuous Walkman on my hip as I walk around in the year 2012, and will be less concerned as to why I’m not wearing headphones and for some reason keep bringing it up to my lips and knocking my head back as if I’m taking some sort of a refreshing drink as if I were in a 90s Sunny D commercial.

That is why I need this, The Drinkman. It’s not a Walkman, it’s a flask… and it’s clever… I like clever.

Things I Want: Harley Quinn Corset Sweater

Say you want to impress a girl who likes comic books, we’ll use me as an example, and you aren’t sure what she would want. I have here 3 questions you should ask yourself when looking for a gift:

1. Does she like comic books?

2. Does she like the Batman series of comic books?

3. Does she like a psychotic villainess who was originally named Harlene Quinzel?

 

If the answer to all three of those questions is yes, and that girl is me, then you should buy me this sweater. And unlike a lot of things on Etsy (which you can find conveniently on Regretsy), they’re well made and something that you could wear outside and in public. Or at least to a Con, if you don’t want normal people wondering why you have bobbles on your head.

If ever I were to open up a bar with a Western theme, I’d have to make sure to include these amazing 12 Gauge shot glasses and only serve drinks with some sort of gun theme attached to them.

Things I Want: Wookie Hoodie

I absolutely hate Hot Topic, so this literally hurts my soul to admit this but I want this sweater. I NEED this sweater! Even though I know that it will probably only last for about 1 week even if I take good care of it. However it’s gorgeous, and I need it.

I mean, it’s a Wookie Hoodie! Albeit this may be a form of animal cruelty (I don’t know how PETA would feel about the Wookies that were killed to make these sweaters) it’s still highly fashionable and amazing in a geeky way. I’m willing to betray my No Hot Topic policy for this. I mean, it’s a good trade. Right?

Things I Want: RX Flask and Shaker

On two separate sites I saw the this design on two separate items. Obviously it’s a sign from the internet deities to spend my money, and in all honesty I think it would be worth it. The shaker is a perfect gag item for hanging out and making cocktails with friends, and the flask is just a fun novelty item that I could keep in my own bar.

I’m almost certain I’m going to buy these.

Things I Want: Tale Moon Phase Cup

Y’all know I’m a fan of things that are classy, and I’m specially a fan of things that are vaguely (very) geeky. So when I saw these of course I flipped out. These are the Tale Moon Phase Cups, and yes it looks like the phases of the moon. Someone get me this! It’s gorgeous! I want to add this to the list of things I need in my bar, however I might want to actually just keep this for my personal collection.

Things I Want: Neverending Story eBook Cover

If the actual Neverending Story were going to be on anything it would be an eBook. I mean, the space is nearly limitless, so the story can literally go on forever. It’s perfect, really. So the question here is, since I have an eReader (and I love my nook dearly), why don’t I have this Neverending Story eBook Cover?

As long as I don’t have the cover, there will be no acceptable answer other than “You will have it, within 3-5 business days!”

 

Things I Want: Universal Android Dock

If there is anything that any other telephone or mp3 that isn’t the iPhone/iPod is lacking is a speaker dock. With Android it’s definitely a lot harder because Android is only an OS and has many different devices that it can be used on.

The Phillips Fidelio series of speakers (which I found through Gizmodo) has found a simple way of dealing with that by connecting the actual audio with the speakers via bluetooth, and leaving the micro USB purely for keeping the device charged.

As an Android fan I want and need this. The remedial set up I have in my home now is just an old set of speakers (which are plugged into a wall) that is set on top of my nightstand next to my phone charger (which is plugged into a wall) which I have to plug and unplug whenever I come and go. The wiring puts me at a discomfort when changing songs on my phone, and to have to have fewer things plugged into my outlet is also convenient. Plus it comes with a remote. I’m a sucker for a remote.

So the question is, who’s willing to buy me one?
